a little about me

Hi, I'm Chris. I grew up in Utah and Washington, expecting my artistic pursuits to be a hobby at most. A combination of opened doors and leaps of faith found me moving to NYC at 18 to pursue acting for film. Surrounded by attractive and talented competition, I decided to learn how to film, write, and edit myself so I could do whatever it took to make things happen.

I’m fortunate to have found early success with Shabbat Dinner, Michael Morgenstern's debut short film that played over 50 festivals and has garnered hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. Being the young, inexperienced guy in the room watching a creative with a purpose made a lot click for me and showed me how I wanted to work. That throughline has carried all the way from 2012 to 2025, when I wrote and debuted Stay, a one-act comedy about grief.

There are a lot of things I struggle to say, and I assume that’s the same for everyone. I’ve found how to voice the unspeakable through art, and I’ll give everything I can to voicing it.
