About

a little about me

Hi, I'm Chris. I grew up in Utah and Washington, expecting my artistic pursuits to be a hobby at most. A combination of opened doors and leaps of faith found me moving to NYC at age 18 to pursue acting for film. From there, a combination of insecurities and curiosity led me to learn how to write, direct, edit, whatever I had to do to not only create the work I wanted to see, but assist the work other artists are struggling to make.

While attending the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts gave me a base to build my career off, I feel most fortunate to have found early success with films like Shabbat Dinner, Michael Morgenstern's debut short that played over 50 festivals and has garnered hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. This early exposure to artists with a purpose shaped my view of this incredible medium.

I believe a healthy blend of optimism and cynicism keeps us grounded in reality, but passionate enough to challenge it. I believe the world is full of perspectives we don't yet understand, but can learn to through art. Most of all, I believe there's room at the table for anybody who has a genuine story to tell. I want to do all I can to bring those stories to life.

Let's create things.
