I started writing short plays and sketch comedy in high school, and when I started school in NYC that quickly evolved into more ambitious projects. Along with a number of sketches and webseries, I wrote and filmed the pilot for Back to One, an ensemble webseries, and Cyberpunch, a sci-fi martial arts comedy that we filmed on a twenty dollar budget over the summer. Those early experiments led to Uncle Gareth, a short that won awards at some small festivals. I also recently wrote Stay—a one-act play about grief that we mounted in 2025—and am currently working on a full-length version as well as a screenplay adaptation.

I tend to write character-driven ensemble pieces, usually centered around a heavy topic but never without a healthy amount of screwball comedy. From there, the tone and pace can vary quite a bit; Uncle Gareth has rapid-fire one-liners with a jazzy score, but Stay moves slowly with the phrase “A beat” written every five lines. I’m also writing a feature that I pitch as “The Big Lebowski but with Warhammer”, so I contain multitudes is what I’m saying.
