editor and colorist

I began editing out of necessity; I had all these ideas for sketches and videos with friends, but no way to make them. So I taught myself. Once I was in New York, that turned into editing acting reels, and then short films, and then all of a sudden I was editing other peoples' content! Crazy how having a marketable skill works. I do my editing with Adobe Premiere (though I've dabbled in Final Cut) and color with a combination of Lumetri, Magic Bullet, and Davinci Resolve depending on the project.

While editing has its tedious parts, there's nothing quite like that feeling of putting a story together piece by piece. As fun as pre-production and production are, it's in post where the film really takes shape. I love to breathe life into projects with a clear purpose, and I have a knack for comedy.
